Pretty much everyone knows the incidence of autism has increased dramatically in recent years. Autism is a brain development disorder that is characterized by impaired social interaction and communication and restricted and repetitive behavior. A child with autism relates with objects and not with people.
Jenny McCarthy’s recent book Warrior Moms shares the stories of moms whose young children experienced severe side effects from vaccinations given for 3 or more illnesses at a time. Many of these children had seizures within 24 hours of their vaccinations.
The stories are tough to read, but worth it, to learn more about autism in children today. The other important information in the book is an introduction to ways to improve or cure autism, which is generally considered genetic-based and incurable.
According to Jenny, there are thousands of stories of vaccine-linked occurrences of autism, and many stories of a cure being found. The American Academy of Pediatrics as a group has refused to work with these parents and denies both the vaccination-autism link and the possibility of a cure. There are, however, individual DAN doctors who work tirelessly to help these parents and their child.
All of us need to be more aware of the safety of immunizations today. They are not made with the same ingredients as they used to be. Every parent and grandparent needs to be an advocate for their child’s health and to ask questions to be informed.
Learn more about Jenny’s work at Generation Rescue and get some facts about autism. Boys are four times more likely to have autism. Also check out the comparison chart comparing the number of immunizations given in 1983 and today: 10 in 1983, 36 in 2007, all before the age of six.
Can these little bodies with not yet fully functioning immune systems really handle these strong vaccines? I think we’re asking and expecting too much then wondering why it hurts our children.
